Washing / Drying Your Century Ripstop Brazilian Fit Jiu-Jitsu Gi
Always wash your Century Ripstop Brazilian Fit Jiu-Jitsu Gi on the lowest temperature setting possible. High-temperature wash will not only shrink your Ripstop Brazilian Fit Jiu-Jitsu Gi, but it will ruin the structural integrity of the collar. Always washing your Ripstop Brazilian Fit Jiu-Jitsu Gi and Gi pants inside out.
You should always wash your Gi with like-colors. For example Black with Black or White with White
Warning Never tumble dry your Century Ripstop Brazilian Fit Jiu-Jitsu Gi! Always hang to dry. If you have the option, outdoor dry is preferable to an indoor dry. It’s faster in the summertime, and the sun will likely contribute to killing bacteria/germs on the Gi. For more info “sun’s effect on bacteria.“
Despite the best efforts to stop the shrinking process of fabrics, RipStop will shrink!! all BJJ Gi’s will shrink at some point to some degree. We all know this! That is why we insist that you wash in cold water only and dry your Gi naturally.
